BRANDYWINE LESSONS: Brandywine has determined that the first two weeks of the program are designated to “Beginner Only” participants.  This will enable Brandywine to provide the new beginner skiers, snowboarders, and snowbladers the most positive on-snow experience possible.  The quality of the lessons will better to accommodate the students and give them the time to properly learn and  progress at their own pace.

For Intermediate & Advanced skiers, snowboarders or snowbladers, there will be two designated areas  that will be marked with “Blue and Black Flags” These flagged areas will hold “Evaluations” to sticker the participants who are already proficient in their skiing and/or snowboarding  skills.  The students will then enjoy the slopes over the first two weeks of the program without taking lessons.

The third week of the program will begin the Intermediate & Advanced lessons for all. The beginners should be close enough to start their intermediate lessons and may continue to take lessons through week #5.  The Intermediate & Advanced participants may start their one hour group lessons through week #5.  They will be able to take up to two lessons in week #4 and #5.  Your students will continue to advance their skiing or riding skills and have the ability to gain five lessons in a season.  Week #6 is a “free ski” day.  Students do not need to take lessons, and can ski on the appropriate slopes that they have mastered during their lessons.

** Stickers will be awarded as skiers pass from one level to another.
