Advisory Board Purpose
The School Advisory Board's stated purpose is to
develop, define, and promote policies for the operation of the elementary school and to
assist in the planning, development and promotion of the elementary school as a model of
excellence in Catholic education. The School Advisory Board is a link of communication
between parents, teachers, and the administration. It is comprised of seven voting members
and two "ex officio" members, the Pastor and the Principal, who have no voting
powers. School Advisory board meetings are open to the public.
The Board members research, review, and develop
operating policies with input from the Administration. The areas specifically covered are
finances and management, developing and reviewing the annual operating budget, developing
and approving the school strategic plan, and reviewing and developing operating policies
to further the school's interests.

Please remember that
Advisory Board meetings are open to all interested parents and teachers.
Any ideas (and of course subcommittee volunteers) are welcome! The
meetings are all on the 3rd Wednesday evening of the month at 7 PM
in the Library. Meeting dates are posted on this page and will be included on
the school's monthly calendar of events.
A permanent copy of the
2009-2010 School
Advisory Board Bylaws, agendas, and monthly meeting minutes will be housed
in a notebook in the school library for your reference.
